Against elite monsters and dungeon minibosses, she excels at creating breathing room for the rest of the team.
Kalien
Kalien focuses less on direct damage and more on making everyone else stronger.
His debuffs lower enemy defenses, allowing your primary damage dealers to hit much harder during burst windows.
If you’re chasing faster boss clears, Kalien is difficult to replace.
Dana
Dana is one of those characters that becomes better the more difficult the content gets.
Grouping enemies together sounds simple on paper, but once you begin farming endgame activities, efficient positioning saves an incredible amount of time.
She also pairs exceptionally well with area-of-effect specialists.
Evolt
I appreciate that Hound13 included an older veteran warrior instead of filling every roster slot with youthful anime heroes.
Evolt is slower than many companions, but every swing feels impactful.
Players who enjoy greatsword gameplay will probably gravitate toward him almost immediately.

One of the most encouraging announcements from Hound13 is the post-launch roadmap.
Instead of introducing paid characters, the developers confirmed that four entirely new companions will arrive through free updates.

The absence of gacha mechanics also gives progression a refreshing sense of fairness—you unlock heroes because you play the game, not because you were lucky enough to win a random pull.
If I had to recommend one piece of advice for new players, it would be this: don’t become attached to only one character.
