Naraka Bladepoint Myriad Season: Battle Pass Rewards, Wanchu Map, and 2026 Hero Tier List

After spending countless hours in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, I honestly didn’t expect a new season to surprise me this much. Every major update usually adds another hero, a few cosmetics, or some balance adjustments. This time, however, the developers went much further.

The Myriad Season changes the way matches feel from the very first drop. The brand-new Wanchu battlefield introduces underwater combat, environmental interactions become part of every engagement, and several heroes suddenly feel much stronger than they did only a season ago.

If you’re wondering whether it’s worth buying the new Battle Pass, learning the new map, or deciding which heroes deserve your time in Ranked, here’s my personal breakdown after following the current competitive scene and playing through the season myself.

Myriad Season Is More Than Just Another Seasonal Update

One thing I appreciate is that this season isn’t simply about adding more skins.

The developers clearly wanted players to approach fights differently. Wanchu rewards movement, awareness, and positioning far more than previous maps. You can’t rely only on muscle memory anymore because the environment itself constantly influences fights.

That fresh feeling is exactly what I think the game needed.

Instead of repeating the same rotations we’ve used for years, players now have to adapt every single match.

Is the Myriad Battle Pass Actually Worth Buying?

As someone who usually buys Battle Passes only when they provide enough value, I was pleasantly surprised.

The Myriad Treasure Scroll offers a solid amount of progression, and unlike many multiplayer games, it doesn’t feel impossible to complete if you play consistently.

You’ll earn experience through:

  • Daily missions
  • Weekly objectives
  • Seasonal challenges
  • Regular Ranked and Survival matches

The progression feels natural instead of forcing endless grinding.

My Favorite Rewards

Rather than flooding players with filler items, this season focuses heavily on an ocean-inspired theme.

RewardWhy It Stands Out
Legendary Hero SkinsBeautiful underwater-inspired armor designs.
Weapon CosmeticsSome of the cleanest weapon effects released so far.
Treasure Choice GiftsLets you target rewards instead of relying entirely on luck.
Exclusive AvatarsA nice bonus for collectors.
Seasonal CurrencyUseful for purchasing older cosmetic items.

Personally, I think the weapon skins are the strongest part of this Battle Pass. Several of them have enough detail that they immediately stand out during combat without becoming visually distracting.

Wanchu Completely Changes How Matches Play

I wasn’t sure how underwater combat would work before release.

Thankfully, it feels much smoother than I expected.

Instead of becoming a gimmick, underwater areas create another layer of decision-making.

Sometimes staying underwater is actually safer than escaping to land.

Other times it becomes a deadly trap.

That constant risk-versus-reward decision makes every fight feel unpredictable.

Environmental Features I Actually Use

Some map mechanics looked strange on paper but turned out to be incredibly useful.

  • Soul-Breath Coral restores oxygen and quickly becomes a valuable objective during underwater battles.
  • Water-Warding Fish completely refill your oxygen and launch you back into action with a momentum boost that often catches enemies off guard.
  • Hot Springs provide fast vertical movement and are excellent escape tools during difficult fights.
  • Iron Urchins and Pufferfish add another strategic layer by turning parts of the environment into offensive weapons.

I’ve actually won several encounters simply because another squad ignored these environmental hazards while focusing only on direct combat.

The Current Hero Meta Feels Healthier Than Previous Seasons

Every competitive season develops its own favorites.

This time, mobility, crowd control, and survivability dominate.

Heroes that can escape dangerous combos or interrupt enemy pressure consistently outperform characters that rely purely on raw damage.

Below is how I currently see the strongest roster.

My Personal 2026 Hero Tier List

Naraka Bladepoint Myriad Season: Battle Pass Rewards, Wanchu Map, and 2026 Hero Tier List

TierHeroes
S TierJustina Gu, Akos Hu, Lannie, Lyam Liu
A TierShayol Wei, Xunhuan Li, Valda Cui, Ziping Yin, Matari, Tessa, Zai, Yoto Hime
B TierTakeda Nobutada, Feria Shen, Wuchen, Viper Ning, Temulch, Zenda Wu
Lower TierTianhai, Yueshan, Kurumi

Obviously, skill matters more than any tier list, but if you’re looking to climb Ranked as efficiently as possible, these heroes currently provide the strongest overall toolkit.

Why Justina Gu Still Sits at the Top

I’ve lost count of how many games have been decided because of a perfectly timed freeze.

Justina remains one of the safest heroes in the game thanks to her incredible balance between defense and crowd control.

She can comfortably:

  • Escape deadly combos.
  • Punish overly aggressive opponents.
  • Control team fights.
  • Create opportunities for teammates.

Her defensive options alone would make her valuable, but once you combine those with her crowd control, she easily earns a place among the strongest heroes in the current meta.

Whenever I queue Ranked, I fully expect to run into several Justina players, and there’s a good reason for that.

Akos Hu Never Stops Applying Pressure

Some heroes survive because they’re defensive.

Akos wins because he constantly pressures his opponents.

His stamina-draining abilities force mistakes, and once an enemy runs out of defensive resources, the fight usually ends within seconds.

In experienced hands, Akos feels relentless from start to finish.

Lannie Has Become One of My Favorite Damage Dealers

I’ll admit that I underestimated Lannie when she first arrived.

After spending more time playing against skilled Lannie users, my opinion completely changed.

She delivers incredible burst damage while remaining surprisingly safe during engagements.

Her ability to pressure opponents without constantly exposing herself makes her exceptionally effective on both classic maps and Wanchu’s vertical environment.

She’s one of those heroes that becomes stronger the better your positioning and game sense improve.

Don’t Ignore the A-Tier Heroes

Many players focus exclusively on S-Tier characters, but I think that’s a mistake.

Several A-Tier heroes are more than capable of carrying games in the right hands.

Shayol Wei

She provides excellent defensive utility while still contributing meaningful damage, making her a fantastic option for coordinated teams.

Valda Cui

The new Wanchu map naturally complements her water-based abilities, allowing her crowd-control tools to shine even more than before.

Ziping Yin

She’s probably the safest support hero available right now. Strong healing often wins matches that raw damage simply cannot.

Matari

She remains one of the best mobility specialists in the roster. While she doesn’t always secure the fastest eliminations, surviving third-party situations often proves far more valuable.

Which Heroes Feel Like They Need Help?

No competitive multiplayer game keeps every character perfectly balanced forever.

Right now, several heroes struggle to keep pace with the modern meta.

Tianhai

His giant transformation used to dominate matches, but today’s fast-paced combat often turns him into an easy target for highly mobile opponents.

Yueshan

He suffers from similar issues. Larger hitboxes simply don’t perform well against heroes built around speed and burst damage.

Kurumi

I still enjoy playing Kurumi occasionally, but compared with today’s strongest support heroes, she lacks the defensive tools necessary to survive aggressive team compositions.

I’d love to see future balance updates give her more independence during fights.

Tips That Improved My Ranked Performance

These aren’t secret strategies, but they’ve noticeably improved my consistency throughout the Myriad Season.

  • Always save your combo breaker. Using it too early usually results in getting caught a second time.
  • Learn underwater routes. Many players still don’t know the fastest paths across Wanchu.
  • Fight around environmental objects. The map itself can restore oxygen, deal damage, or create escape opportunities.
  • Build balanced Trio teams. Running three damage dealers isn’t always the smartest choice.

My preferred Trio composition includes one initiator, one primary damage dealer, and one support or utility hero. That balance consistently performs better during chaotic end-game fights.

Final Thoughts

After several years of updates, it’s genuinely refreshing to see NARAKA: BLADEPOINT evolve instead of simply adding more content.

The Myriad Season isn’t just another collection of cosmetics. Wanchu introduces mechanics that genuinely affect strategy, the Battle Pass provides worthwhile progression, and the current hero balance encourages players to experiment instead of locking everyone into identical playstyles.

Will every balance decision remain perfect? Probably not. Competitive games constantly evolve, and today’s strongest hero could become tomorrow’s average pick.

Even so, this has become one of my favorite seasons in recent memory.

If you’re returning after a long break, I honestly think this is one of the best times to jump back into the game. Spend a few matches learning Wanchu’s underwater routes, experiment with different heroes until you find your favorite, and enjoy the fact that the meta is still developing. That sense of discovery is exactly what makes this season feel so enjoyable.
