The global PC ecosystem is designed around unified progression data, including elements such as characters, unlocked cosmetics and achievements.

Still, players shouldn’t interpret this as universal mobile cross-progression. The global service’s lack of a native mobile launch means there is currently no reason to expect Western players to jump freely between a global PC client and an official global iOS/Android client on day one.

Why Aion 2 Is So Demanding on PC

Aion 2 isn’t trying to look like a traditional low-budget MMO.

The game is built with Unreal Engine 5, and that decision has major consequences for performance. Lighting, effects, character detail and environmental scale are all designed around modern hardware.
